Masters of the Universe

For his latest project, German artist Adrian Riemann has taken the iconic cast of Masters of the Universe and given them a fashionable makeover.

The A3 sized hand-drawings features the recognizable characters all dressed up in the latest and flyest gear. You can check out the rest of the cast and an itemized breakdown of what they're wearing here.

Well thank you and you're welcome! Sneaker giant NIKE is no stranger to collaboration, the latest NIKE x ______ project comes in the form of a “Thank You” present to SONY PlayStation Director of Product Publicity Ron Eagle.

Using the NIKE Air Trainer I as the base and limited to 24 pairs, the slick design channels inspiration from the various iterations of the SONY PlayStation and will surely send avid Sneakerheads into a frenzy to get their hands on a pair.

Citroën Revolte


Much like the updated versions of the Fiat 500, VW Beetle and the Mini redux. Modern interpretations of iconic European small cars seems to be all the rage in the auto industry right now. French automaker Citroën is looking to its past for inspiration for its future.

The Revolte concept is a 21st century update of the iconic Citroën 2CV, and will debut this week at the 2009 Frankfurt International Autoshow.

Baptized in Black Light


Artist Kehinde Wiley returns to the Deitch Gallery with Black Light,
a selection of 17 photographs from his recent book of the same title.
Described as a shuffle of Wiley’s artistic process, Black Light showcases the raw source material photographs often used as a point of reference for Wiley's grand urban Rococo styled paintings.

To celebrate the fourth anniversary of Nike Osaka, Osaka art project digmeout has teamed up with NIKEiD Studio for a year-round art collaboration project called WAZZAWALL. Artists are asked to submit auditions on the digmeout site and if chosen they will be providing artwork for the nine-meter-wide wall installed in the NIKEiD STUDIO at Nike Osaka.
