Foot Locker Guerilla Campaigns

Over in Europe, Foot Locker is holding a competition for sneakerheads to submit a sneaker obsessed short film for a chance to win enough sneakers to last a lifetime. As part of the initiative they have taken to the streets of Paris with some pretty innovative guerrilla marketing campaigns, ranging from grandpas distributing flyers, a "live sneaker bath" and a screening of a selection of the entries on the walls of the Parisian streets.

ASTRONUTZ


Artist/Designer Paul Shih has launched a collection of T-shirts dubbed ASTRONUTZ. The Lo-Fi Collection pays tribute and pokes fun at some well liked and established labels. Starring Captain Peanut, part of a group of once leftover spacefood disposed into outer-space who managed to survive and evolve into the ASTRONUTZ. Wash Me!


MINI continues their 50th birthday celebration with the release of the art book "Wash Me." Inspired by the temptation to write "Wash Me" on a dirty car or to draw something on a fogged windscreen with your finger, MINI commissioned ten artist (who have never worked with the automobile as a medium) to transform ten vehicles into a transient work of art. Nico Ammann serves as art director and photographer of the works featured in the book published by MINI Switzerland in a limited run of 2,000 copies.
